Bro, why didn't you start with this vs that Avent garde, holiday Inn lobby hanging, looking like a toddler crawled over canvas, piece o' dried acrylic?!?! That's freaking awesome!

I've owned more econolines than I can count and they'll always be my knee jerk reaction best van platform.

But I've got the BIGGEST weak spot for astro vans, especially the commercial windowless ones

Probably took two or three days to get over the cosmetic dysmorphia. If it wasn't for that van, I probably wouldn't have taken auto shop. Those people were beneath me until my first class. I quickly realized these were my people.

I know little to nothing about Asian vans. Ford, Chevy, Dodge/Chrysler are all I've ever owned. And outside of that I've only ever worked on Mercedes work vans (but not real work)

I've been drinking, sorry if I came across too assholeish. Even through pictures I can understand your statement of "feel"

I've just never been "into art" hard enough to discuss modern abstract pieces out loud lol

All good brother! Art is personal. Or it’s not. Some people take hour long shits. I prefer to get in and get out.

I hope they have a specialist in sprinter vans close by, cause I would feel shitty about that. I give her 20k miles before she'll need to start dropping serious coin on PM. Another 30k-50k past that with no PM and it'll be a boat anchor.

this is anecdotal evidence based off my Old company having 2 of them that developed electrical gremlins that were beyond my scope of expertise. Normal Mercedes local dealer didn't have the tools to properly diagnose it and they had to send it a sprinter specialty shop further north. Cluster fuck

The trick is to take 60 separate one minute long shits per day so you get the best of both worlds

Thanks, they were done by a friend of my Dad and hung in another friends house until he passed last year. I grew up seeing them, so I was happy to get to have them hang in my house. The one with the man is a self portrait of the artist and the woman was his girlfriend, both addicted to heroine from what I've heard (hence the vascular, thin features)

Super cool! Amazing too! That’s what makes art cool imo. History. Rough life that will be shared forever!

Art is always more impactful when you get to feel the story behind it, even if you didn't get to experience that story first hand. That's what I enjoy about it.
