    I'm guessing all of that!

I've never rebuilt a walk behind, so I'm kind of curious to get it cutting.

    We doing videos?

Alright, here is a video of my boy driving my SxS pulling my mower. Grass was way high. It had been about 6 weeks since I last mowed. Who knew grass grows like crazy in hot, wet weather?
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Redp5D2Q6A

And here is my boy driving a riding mower for the first time. He had a ton of fun. I think everyone can relate to how he felt, I know I certainly can remember when I got started anyways.

Great vids! I think I was a similar age when I got to run the tractor/mower.

I've got pictures somewhere of my grandpa and me mowing on his SS/16 in the early 80's. One of my regrets in life is when he sold his land and downsized I passed on taking that mower. It's just a dumb mower, but looking back on it, I would love to have it. I often kick around the idea of picking one up, but it wouldn't be the same.

Unloaded from the trailer, not much seat time today.

I'm pretty stoke about buying this new SS Kuboter, gonna try and pick up a polycarbonate door next week and rent a few different cutters before I decide and purchase one.

My tree grubber attachment is at the neighbors house, he is adding extra armor to it to protect the skidsteer front cylinder/hoses for the quick attach.

I just need to slow down now, just gotta tell myself it's no longer a rental and I shouldn't feel rushed to get 8 hours in it a day.

Thanks. I gotta give my boy credit though, he listens very well. Better than I did, or do anyways. If you tell him "Do X", he does exactly what you say. It's pretty impressive actually. This is his mom in him.

He's a good kid and I couldn't be prouder of him.

"Avoid trees and avoid the creek" is all I really had to tell him.

Took the Taco Bell seat covers off my new office chair, opened up the cab over, and checked everything out. Added the extension hydraulic hoses to the grapple and got them secured.

I didn't finish cleaning my trench out yesterday cuz I was beat. Back to work today and it dumped rain all day. The trench did what it was supposed to do even with the ridges I wanted to knock down. The rain cleaned it out.

When I cross at the bottom is where the runoff was crossing and cutting the driveway. It is exactly like it was before I trenched. Normally rain runs down the middle, crosses, and cuts off the side. This worked.

    Sweet machine!!

Just did a power washer foamer cleaning and then the first annual oil change on my ASV RT-25 today...struggled with the oil filter being stuck, but got it done...only 67.8 hrs on it when I parked it in the garage for this service.
    20220608_204350~2.jpg

Added 6.3 qts. of Delvac 10w-30 and one new Perkins Engine oil filter, ran it and checked for leaks and then bolted on the skid plate.

I did this engine swap and never gave it a thought to see if it had a decent rectifier/voltage regulator.

Threw the VOM on it was pleased to see we don't have spend doll hairs and time to make it charge the battery ...or as my late father would say...batry.

@koditten a friend who stood in my wedding had this mower for many years, the deck gearbox messed up and he "repaired" it and used it for several more years. The drive gear box went out on it so he listed it on c-list for $1,250, took him a month to get rid of it.

    A5817604-EEBE-4CED-BDF9-8579F73E0692.jpg

A guy who flips them bought it and put a gearbox on it. I saw it on c-list yesterday.

I have one almost identical -- but not that shiny, it runs and works - just.
    1993 build IIRC

The thing is a blast to drive and incredibly fast, really too large for an in town lawn, won't fit on my trailer either.

When I get caught up (insert laugh here) I want to get it running good and bring it home where there is wide open space to really take advantage of it.

Which presents the next problem -- where to store it -- the thing is gigantic.
    :annoyed:
