Leveling kit, wheel spacers, personally fabricated modified frame, and some sweet diamond plate to cover up a smashed driver side! Because I was stupid
That’ll look good, level it right up! I put 3” in the front and an add’a’leaf in the back. It sits a little higher in the back than I want but the springs were squishy so it needed the support.

Hoping to keep her going. 12 hour job on the frame yesterday. Time to weld a few spots up.

Minor thing but finally installed and programmed new sensors in my 4runner take-off wheels and tires. Only been sitting in my tool box since I installed the tires last November. Had all the tire pressure light I can stand. After get hood and roof painted next week I will finally install my Spiker hood struts. Only had those since last August. Then maybe I will finally boost/level the front with some 3rd gen take-off springs and struts. That is just a no-brainer $100 compared to the price of 5100's. One advantage of being retired is not being in a rush to do anything.

Trying out a new tire product. Rubber Care by Aero Cosmetics.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CRNKGQB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Supposed to be a no shine product. I wanted something that helped restore/maintain the black tire appearance, but not attract dirt. All the other tire "shine" products attract dirt and dust. I'm always off-roading on the weekends, so I'll see how this holds up. So far the tire feels dry to the touch.

When I installed 5100's on my 3rd gen, set at 0.65 that bumped the front up 1", my alignment was dead on and needed zero adjustments. My question, for those that simply swapped 2nd to 3rd gen strut assemblies also gaining around 1", is did you actually need an alignment.

I had to get an allingment but I added a spacer that supposedly gave me 3”. Only going 1” you might not need one

That's what I think. I will try to do a chalk test after I do it. Will be 2-3 weeks but anxious to do it. Looks like maybe an hour job without disassembling struts/springs. Much easier than adding 5100's to existing springs.

Got to leave work early so I took a drive to Detail Garage in Orange, CT to pick up some detail clay and spray bottles.
I also stopped to get my emissions test done on the way home from the store. It passed.

Now I'm going to do some taping of the harness.

Thanks. I actually built it from scratch. Unfortunately I don’t have a build thread on it. But I can answer any questions you might have.

Alignment was dead on to what exactly? Nominal factory spec numbers or within its +/- tolerance? The lift is going to alter your numbers, so if it were me I'd have the alignment checked/adjusted.

I have to change a wire before taping. I'm adding a connector for wires that will run to under the hood. The wire I want to include in the connector is too small so I need to add an 18GA. wire and lengthen the smaller gauge wire.
That's on the drivers side so I can start taping the passenger side. The stuff I ordered will be here Saturday.
