I have a2019 Tacoma TRD , did a rear 5160 and a Icon AAL 1.5. Truck is very level.. Duro bump stop.

Due to occasional heavy loads, camping gears, and hauling 800 lbs coffee a few times a year.
I am thinking of a 1inch lift block by ELBACH (Amazon) . $155 prime (free shipping)
    Model LB81-82-007-01-02.
If I order direct from Extreme Terrain for the Elbach 1 inch block with u-bolts $135.00 plus $89 shipping.

I don't carry much for heavy loads... but I have the Eibach block... ordered through a local supplier. Came with u-bolts. Works fine for my application.

I have a 1" block with a HS AAL (no overload in). Stock u-bolts.

Works fine for me but I do plan on swapping out the block and putting in the overload at some point.

In what way do you think a block will help you haul stuff?

Just for the rake purpose , I know blocks is for a lift only. Adding springs AAL or complete springs is the way to go to carry heavier loads.

blocks will help the truck look more level with loads.

Lower the front or replace the rear with a full leaf pack.

Where I go shoreline fishing , you want to raise the front and back “higher”. Mostly rocky places, cliffs , not to many sandy beaches you can travel on and fish at.

I went with only a two + lift, getting too old to climb up . Long bed too. My old Dodge Ram 8’ bed w/ camper 4 inch lift, when you make to many stops (shopping) you get tire climbing up and down. Lol

if the blocks are not to my liking, I will order beefier springs.

On the other side of our island is a spring shop, maybe re-arch or stack more springs? Or both?

I don’t understand why people get embarrassed about their truck sagging in back while it’s doing work. You should feel proud that you are using your truck for its intended purpose rather than trolling the mall.

I am not embarrassed at all. When I do go off roading with fishing and camping gear, I do not want my tail dragging .
When I do haul 900 lbs of coffee on the highways , it is no big deal.

My truck is use on the farm , also I have a 1999 ford Ranger4x4 not license, does the dirty work. . But the main purpose for me is to go shoreline fishing to our flavorite spots, often where most people cannot go.
The trails are built over lava fields, rocky, and a few sandy places. The worst parts are the dips and turns on the dips too. Up and down. Long beds like mines will hit in a few places.

if you see where I go? You will want a higher lift! I am too old to climb up very high lifted trucks. Also limits to where I can go today.

I'm curious how high. I have the 5160 with icon AAL.

I have the front set with plenty of rake, and it still sits high.

How high does yours sit? And where does it need to sit?

Same here 5160s and the Icon 1.5 AAL. Long Bed. 275/70/R17. BFGs AT. W/ leer camper.

I am guessing when I go overnight fish and camp, maybe 600 + lbs standard coolers - two 151qts with one 50lbs ice and the other 100lbs ice (depends) amount of days / nights. One Ulua caught can weight over 100lbs.
Fishing weights , 1oz up to 9 oz each. Carry at least 20-30lbs , Rods and reels minimum 6 rods and 8 reels of various sizes. And the list goes on. That is mine only. If I carry a partner, whew! BE1A9EB9-A240-494D-87F7-74746E8D2A73.jpg

Rule here is one man one truck.
