The outer edges fit great, nice and flush. At first the trim ring wasnt flush, it was a little popped out. The trick is to create more room directly behind the head unit. Move some wires around and it'll sit nice.

be gentle putting it on tho.. you know how the dash kit meets flush with the darker, top part of the dash.. I scratched the darker part on top a little bit :(

theres a nice hole to shove all the RCA wires top left corner, you'll see it. Make some room for that monster to slide in nice.. :)

    Nick,

When you get some time can you snap a pic of the kit in day light so I can see how it looks in there?

    Thanks man!

Do you have any trouble with the trim ring just kinda sitting in place loosely? Mine doesn't seem to sit perfectly flush and it will move around a little if I touch it. Poor quality if you ask me (unless I did something wrong...)

I got the single din scocshe kit and my trim ring did not fit either. I just snapped in the decks trim ring instead it fit perfectly.

Did you have to cut it at all? Or just give it some force.

No cutting.....the trim ring didnt sit flush at first but after i moved the wires around in back and made some more room, it sat flush and it stays in place

just took a cell phone pic its in my gallery. The only problem i have with the trim ring is a little space on the top above the CD slot..i think thats cause theres not really any pressure pushing up there, this may not happen with other units

Sorry for the delay, was busy all night.. On your Z1, the Pink wire on the Power harness should be the VSS

Violet/White on the power harness is the reverse signal

Here's the manual for the Z1
