I too am not a fan of the M4 handguard. Like holding a giant dildo… it does have historic appeal however….

Just make sure you mark the 300 magazines. Ammo will fit in the 223 chamber. But big boom bad

I’m pretty darn sure you can’t chamber a 30 cal in a .223 barrel but it would certainly lead to awkward situations! Like that one round you forgot to put powder in and the primer jammed it into the barrel….
