Kindof a moot point when MOST tires manufacturers have plants out in Asia, South America, etc. Walmart is just selling the tire. They didn't make it.

Its the odd ball names that walmart sells for less than most name brand tires. You can bet their of chinese origin, or owned by the chinese made in another asian country.

What makes you believe that all tire manufacturers in Asian countries make poor quality tires?

That said, Walmart is a brand built on being inexpensive. It is no surprise that some of theirproducts they sell might not be elite in terms of performance, durability, etc. They will more than likely be cheaper than any other retailer though.

Blame Walmart instead of an entire continent.

Milestar isn't an oddball name. I know a ton of people that run the Patagonia MTs and swear by them. See Matt's Off Road Recovery on YouTube.

Certainly doesn't bode well but also doesn't affect the number of people that I know that run them with great success.

Point is it's not a no-name. Wal mart doesn't only sell no names. Blooming could happen to any tire and the people blaming them on "being cheap crap because Wal Mart" don't really understand how this all works lol.

They really don’t. You can get cheap stuff if you want but you can order pretty much anything so if you buy cheap crap off the website cause you want to save a few dollars don’t complain

    Here's a secret I learned as a detailer for over 30 years.

As a self employed auto detailer for 30+ years (now retired) I can say with confidence bloom happens on ALL tires. Doesn't matter who makes them or who sells them.

I laugh at products claiming to be "tire cleaners" charging $30 to $75 or more per gallon. You don't even need to spend $10+ on Simple Green. The secrete and cheapest cleaner that I used on ALL tires for cleaning tire bloom, brake dust and general road grime is regular ol' GASOLINE. That's right folks gasoline! It dissolves the above immediately and evaporates quickly. Wipe it on wipe it off and boom you're back to original black. Want your tires to look blacker that stock with out the shine check out the plethora of matte tire shine products on the market or if the product you're currently using is water based try diluting it 50/50.

Gasoline is a solvent and will dry out the rubber faster. The best thing you can do for your tires is leave them alone. Wash them with soap and water just like the rest of your car and call it good.

And the rubber used for tires is solvent resistant just like the rubber used in every hose under your hood including but not limited to brake lines, fuel lines and coolent hoses. I've seen way more tire damage from the sun than any solvent. To be honest most tire cleaning and tire shine products are solvent based because manufactures know its a non issue due to tires being solvent resistant.

I really like Bleche White as well - it makes the tire nice and black again (gets rid of built up brownness/discoloration) but doesn't leave a shine. I want my truck to be clean when I wash it, and I take great pride in its condition, but tire shine feels a bit too far for what my truck is.

I think the best look is to add the tire shine and next day lightly rinse the tire and you have a nice dark black tire with no shine......looks kinda like its new

“Tire bloom”? Someone’s truck needs less washing and going off-road more often.

If you really want to make your tires look nice, and keep them looking good, stay away from the armor all.

this stuff will keep them looking good, and not extra shiny.

    https://www.griotsgarage.com/black-satin-tire-coating-15-ounces/

not sure why some folks here have a problem with others wanting to keep their truck looking nice, but hey I like to take care of my stuff.

I never claimed all, you did. Some likely are fine. I didn't have good results, as far as thread life, so did others i know. Imo, your best sticking with a name brand, or take your chances. Imo, i wouldn't buy a chinese made tire again except for my light duty trailer. Its probably not only walmart that sells asian tires, but they are the most common here to do so.

Actually no they’re not resistant to nonpolar solvents. It penetrates the rubber and could lead to degradation and besides if you rub gasoline all over your tires your truck will stink like gasoline. You should do some research on this.
