Anyone done exterior work before? Guess I'm tackling DIY next year...
Gotta get New Fascia Boards, Soffits and Vinyl siding done. Then I'll pay someone the $1500 for gutters.

Rot underneath. I have all wooden siding, its like smooth painted plywood, with vertical boards along the center with a header board and a footer board. I don't know the terminology.

 

That was meant as when the insurance asks I have no idea.

But we had wood siding here and I completely understand.

 

I get to remortar the chimney and repair rotten lap siding in the near future. Hooray.

 

Also realize there's no soffit vents, and since there's no gables on the house, no gable vents either. Hope I have a roof vent somewhere...
