Everything I have is for sale except for the 1949 John Deere A. My dad gave it to me and it’s the same year he was born.


I’ve been thinking about selling the Jon boat that hasn’t been in the water in 10 years. Cleaned the leaves out of it yesterday.




I put a radio in it a long time ago

 

The first person to come look was going home and do some measuring to see if they have room and is going to let us know. We then had 2 more people come look at it, at the same time. One is going to try and get some money today and the other is going to get back to us. We’ve got a lot of interest so it shouldn’t be here long

 

I went in the house to take a shower last night and it wasn’t as cool as it should be. Went out and looked and the big line to the compressor was froze. Got a buddy coming by today to put a dose of freon in for us. Hopefully that’s all it is.

 

A/C problems

 

I always pushed back. Got two service managers fired. I was proud of it. They were ruining the shop and screwing the techs. Went right to the owner.

 

Usually it’s not because of low Freon (at least in vehicles).

I laid out yesterday from work, wasn't feeling well at all. Maybe all the talk of allergies gave me a flare-up. Couple of allergy somethings and a couple Bayer back n body aspirin and feeling better n back to work today. Also was not able to sleep hardly a wink Wed night. Ugh...some stress catching up to me possibly too.

Check your filter, drain, condenser and closed ducts as freezups are often about flow. Typically the condenser isn’t flowing enough to vaporize the freon. If not, he’s got ya covered!

EDIT: it’s early, meant to say evaporator, but condenser is just as important to clean annually. Plenty of dirt, grass, spores end up in there. At least hose it down thoroughly, even if you don’t use the aerosol cleaner.

 

Look at this little skipper! He was trying to hitch a ride to Ellsworth under the position indicator on one of our regulators. We let him go in the woods.

 

Maybe things changed or just different where you live . Over the years I have learned Serious Buyers have at least $500.00 to $1000.00 in hand .

If a loan is needed the paper work is done just waiting on a final figure. Because if it is a decent price it will not last long .

Then one can get the urge lets go buy a Camper .

 

When was the last filter change?? Always my First thing to check

 

People know better Freon is a brand of Refrigerant made by the fine people in Delaware DuPont .

I got taken to task so often about this In my HVAC schooling.

 

There is an aerosol cleaner?!

 

Yes indeed !! Spray it on let it work hose it off.

Kinda like the spray on engine cleaners

It would be strange if you don`t sell it.

Any HVAC supply house has it sitting near the counter!!

 

We always used the liquid in gallon jugs. Every spring we had about 100 homes on a preventative maintenance program.

 

People get lazy I do indeed remember mixing and using in those pump up sprayers.

 

I have some coil cleaner, probably need to go in and do that. Filter was changed about 3 weeks ago. I try to stay on top of that.
