Yeah...should've gone with the metal strap wrench style...my neighbor gave me the one pictured after we tag teamed it to get enough tension on the crunched more squared filter. My rubber strap wrench is too big for the little oil filter.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Nope. They were able to leave about 5:45. And if she did, we couldn't get it to her. She's home and we've had dinner. Breakfast.

I take the heep in tomorrow morning for it’s lovely state inspection. Found the paper work in the glove box from last year, only put 3,308 miles on it. A crying shame.

    ~2.13 inches - 4.25 inches

Smartphone for the win...no way I've memorized that conversion rate!

My workbench has some old screw/bolt/nut identifier cards.

Now my FiL has tons of old time metal conversion wall hangers. He's got decimal to fractions, drill bits (numbers/decimals/fractions), metric to standard, etc. I'll try to snap some photos, as I hope to be heading up there to do some camper trailer work this weekend.

Right on. Can’t beat an old timer with old school info. I have two of those thread pitch gauge tools (standard and metric) around this pigsty somewhere.

How is the trailer coming along?

I've still got one of my grandfather's slide rulers he used as an engineer. No idea how to use it. I read the instructions one time and got a headache after the first paragraph, never looked at them again (or want to). We're definitely spoiled with computers and smartphones when it comes to that stuff.
