Hmmmmmm we don't do any of that just let it ride clyde and hope for the best and follow the ever popular safety 3rd protocol. We add oil to it from time to time because it leaks a little. Nothing to fear we just hang 3 ton slabs of material 15 ft in the air.

By law you have to have an outside 3rd party inspection once a year by a CMAA certified crane inspector. Cranes are no joke. We had a guy at work break both of his legs due to a crane failure.

    3.4 gallons and I'm averaging 79.8 MPG's over the last 240ish miles.

I think the numbers on the books say 70ish MPG's, but the 2 roads I drive to work are 45(5+miles) and 55(being about 1/2 mile), so I'm getting better than most. It's basically paying for itself at this point. My insurance was only $103 a year. Tires are cheap at around $70 a piece. Oil change about $20(every 8K), but I plan to do them every 5K.........plus, I'm really enjoying it and have always had a love for bikes since my first XR50R at 5yrs old and learning to ride it in my parent's hallway:bikewheelie2::bikewhoops:

It's great(I'm sure you'd feel it above 70ish?). The 6th gear really helps. It also has rubber inserts in the foot pegs. I'm sure I'll feel it more once I replace those with wider ones and take the bar ends out for handguards.

I plan to put on some Progrip foam rally grips, so hopefully that'll hep too.

good to know. I wouldn’t mind having a dual sport / adventure bike. Been eying the KTMs pretty heavily.

My sportster is only a 5 speed and runs wide open above 70.

The place I bought the Rally from had a 2021 KTM 390 Adventure with 1200 miles(I think) for $5400ish. I looked at it too, but I just wasn't familiar with European brands, so stuck with what I knew :D

I had been eyeing the Rally since it came out, so I knew it's quirks and also Honda's reliability. Didn't really have time to find out about KTM.

That thing is sharp, would look much better with a Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust $$$$$$ though.

They only make SS :D It's not bad for a full exhaust at $649. I remember what I paid for the GSXR exhaust  Once I get the racks and stuff on, I may look into it just for weight savings. I'm pretty happy with the performance..................so far :D
