Going from the 2015 the blew up and putting a 2013 engine in, didn't think it was that different. Warranty sent it to a shop and they pulled my engine and basically didn't want to finish without geeting more money then Warranty paid out so I got what Warranty gave them and towed it home to do myself everything was going good until now. Any ideas on what I should do other then changing the heads out, should I put my 15 manifolds on and will that make the dash lights come on or is there a "bypass" I can do I'm kinda lost please any help is much!!!! Appreciated!!!!!

The replacement engine must be a pre 2012 engine because all Tacoma 4.0l engines 2012 and up have secondary air injection.
There are blockoff plates and bypass kits or tuning avaliable to "delete" the system although they are technically not legal for street use and may fail an emissions inspection depending on the area you live in.

Put the 13 manifolds in and I think you can disable SAI with hp tuners. The harder part of deleting air injection is already done if your putting in the 13 engine

Ok good that's the way I was leaning, I don't have emissions inspections in my state, just didn't know if it would make the rest of my truck go crazy. Yes still the oem ecm

15 manifold wont do any good except having to buy more parts since the 13 engine doesn’t have the ports for the air injection I think.

Yes you're right. Of course the "13" engine is likely a '05-'11 engine, as the manifold injection was added starting with the '12 model year.

It’s not a 13 engine 12-15 are all the same.
