It's not ready yet. I need to get some 6" Neighbor Haters welded on in place where the secondaries used to be because right now it's overbearingly loud and there is drone. I receive those and will get them welded on next Monday or Tuesday. I still got a quick video I shot of it if you guys want it though.

Ok guy's here is my exhaust set up URD. Y pipe 3" collector to a 3" cut out that when close. Goes to a flex right after a vibrant resonator and the stock muffler

 

this is very clean. nice paint color. not for everyone but i like it!

 

Other than being chinesium, any reason this wouldn't work for pulling the stock pulley off the supercharger? I figured it would be less sketchy than the threaded pullers I already had.

 

I think you’ll be a pioneer here. Let us know how it works. I went along with everyone else and used the 5-ton craftsman. Haven’t seen this one used in this thread.

 

Speaking of exhausts I thought this was pretty cool had never seen it. Borla for TRX.

 

I want a base model just because it could fulfill my truck duties as well as saving gas. So it’ll allow me to get some other fun car to sit next to it. Those mark ups can kiss my ass though.

 

any opinions on preemptively heli coil or retapping the intercooler lid? I was thinking of just stepping up from a m8x1.0 (?) to a m8x1.25. I'm guessing the specs of the bolts from the install instructions.

 

Shouldn't be a problem as long as there is enough material to support the helicoil. Not sure about going up to m8 screws. I've installed key lock inserts in some of the other brackets with no issues.

 

i would not use that. one member i know of had a cheap one break. he got lucky and wasnt hurt. my 2cents.

 

i just rented a 6 ton puller from O'rieleys for free....i mean you put a deposit down but you get it back. Hell Autozone lets you rent for 90 days! Like how many times are you possibly going to use that? I bought the 3-ton pulley to try and do the job but it was too weak. Haven't used it again since

 

I had the 3 ton jarbor freight one and the three jaw one didn't fit. If it fits for you, I'd try it. Ended up with the craftsman two jaw 5 ton..

And here are the mufflers themselves. Like I said, this work is not done yet, so there are leaks and other little things that need to be addressed before I call anything final.

 

for a 20+k mark up that would buy gas til trade in.

 

now its just a simple cam upgrade right??

 

Anyone know what could cause this code? Only mods are headers and intake but just bolt ons. Still on stock tune and still stock downpipes. Have had the mods on since March and have put some miles on it since then but on a 1800 mile road trip and it popped up
