Lol, I thought it was you and Matt:rofl:

Damn good question, I think ideally you would go to BT's and just be picking up and coming to tree house. That would involve everyone that wants food to have placed their order and have it ready for the same pickup time paid for but under your name:confused::confused::confused:
Does this sound like it could be coordinated and pulled off?

I can go too. Figured one would fit but I can go too.

No this is gonna be an absolute cluster f*** but whatever doing it anyway :D

Edit - treehouse when they open you can put in an order for can pickup online and then go pick it up. Can't drink the cans outside only of you go to the bar(s). I'll be shoveling bbq in my face and don't have any plans to get beer this time.

I have faith that the peeps that are serious about Q will have their shit together and orders in.

Just read that you can't ask for a pick-up time:eek: that might cluster funk things a bit.

    Ideas?

Ordering online at BT’s there’s a “start a group order” thing. Then you enter the emails for everyone joining the order. No spend limits (don’t worry I wouldn’t do that to y’all!)

But I have ZE-RO idea how this thing works….

There’s a place to add names when you’re adding things to the menu. Maybe we put “ROB/MATT - [username]” in there? That way me and matt can go, get it all, then we can easily hand it out at Treehouse?

I think that will work well. I can start a group if we need to share email addresses.

Assuming the Sturbridge location? It's closer.

Trying a dry run to see how it all works...

Is this a gathering and looking around at other Tacomas along with some booths. Or is this just a get together to eat and drink in the bar.

No booths. Bunch of middle aged dudes sitting in the parking lot eating bbq and probably talking about trucks.

Can go down and get beer. I did last time. Probably won't this time.

I'm serious about BBQ. And I haven't had BTs.
Heard enough negative, inconsistent etc. Stopped in 2x... neither of us were.. impressed.

Best, and most consistent bbq is elsewhere IMHO

Next meet will be timberyard, if you know of good q near it we should just plan that and then only vote on dates the most can make it. There's lots places for meets and grub.
    We'll try lots:hungry:

Still working on it. Not sure who the main user should be...

    I like timberyard.

Best BBQ I've had in the Northeast so far, is a spot @tacobell007 turned me on to. Up off Rte2, in Millers Falls....

Vanished Valley in Ludlow has a nice big parking lot, and a pretty damn good brewery and grub.

    So many options ......

The only placed that get recognized, are close to Boston...

    Edit, @JeffB North Village Smokehouse

Will be driving up tomorrow, as that is where my oldest wants ,e to take her for her Bday

I second on the ludlow parking lot. It was held before Covid crap started I think. I remember there being a flex ramp.

So this is going to be happening rain or shine?

Didn't make a rain date or location and it's outside. As of now weather looks OK. There was talk of firefly for a rain location. We'll see tomorrow if we need to make other plans.

Be early, any poor weather should be late in the day.

    To many, but never done
I've had it a few times and have the same opinion...
I make better myself but to each their own.
Don't get me wrong though they do have good food.

    Bluebird up in Burlington.

Bear out by Bradley airport ain't bad either.

It's no Texas but it does the trick.

Same. But the problem is the smallest brisket I can find is like 15 lbs and takes 20 hours. I will f with sausages and turkey and even butts. But for the one or two times a year I go for a brisket, I have zero problems farming that out to a barbecue joint.

@GarlicFarts as the family meals get smaller(kids growing up, etc)..
Been experimenting with corned beef(3-4#), instead of a 12-15#er.

So far, pretty good. Little different, mostly in the rub, and time is shorter.
But, that, some smoked potatoes, or street corn, feeds us dinner, and I made hash in the morning.
