I, too, was able to secure a bottle of the BT at my nearby ABC this morning. I was told by a rep at another ABC that they were allocated three bottles of Blantons. There was a line of people at the door when they opened. All three bottles were sold to the first three customers in line.

I'm just not that dedicated to wait in line for overhyped Bourbon. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to purchase a bottle of Blantons to add to my collection. I just find it crazy to pay second hand prices or wait outside for a store just for the off-chance that one bottle comes available.

 

Depending on which local county I go to, they either do a lottery for Blantons and things like that, or you just have to get lucky when you show up. They won’t tell you squat over the phone which is smart, I wouldn’t either.

three counties south, they send out emails the day prior and have losers in lawn chairs at the door three hours prior. It ain’t worth it. I bet they all sell it secondary too.

Yes they release an a,b, and c variation. The 5 correlates to the 5th month and 22 is the year.
