@tonered some background info, he flashed the tune and then sounds like he hit Read P5 TCU instead of Clear TCU.

I told him he can try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins and then reflash, and/or flash the magnuson tune to compare.

It's also a fresh supercharger install. Confirmation of proper install of all parts should be conducted.

I know when I would swap turbos on my mazdaspeed3, initial start up was a bit rough too.

No. But, it sounds like @mZiggy got you.

    Thanks!

I'd reflash to be sure. The buttons in the Flash Tool should be bigger and / or spaced out further.

Yeah. Sometimes it is rumbly on the Taco, but it smooths out.

I’m guessing that’s probably from when you removed the 15amp #4 fuse and started the engine to relieve fuel pressure. I got a CEL as well after I installed my charger because of that. I cleared the DTC and it was all good. You should check what the CEL code is before clearing it.

    CEL = Check Engine Light

Pull the codes and report back, that will help determine what your issues might be.

I use a Bluetooth dongle and the torque app on my android device. I know Techstream can also do it since that is Toyota's diagnostic software, but I've never used it for that. Not totally sure if VFTuner can do that or not...

Then Prepare ECM>Select Calibration File> selected YW file and nothing happened. When I select the calibration file, The log window says “Flash Generation: Gen 2”

Isn't it just 'calibrate ecm' from there? (After selecting file)

yes. along with note that says flash successful, and to switch off the engine and restart. then another set of options comes up to clear the TCU (shifting logic for AT) and clear ECU (AFR learning).

I checked with my Scangauge and the codes showing are: p21d1, p21d3, p21cf.

this is probably why my check engine light is on but not sure about why the Tracoff.

can this be specific of the YW tune. Should I load the Maggy to see if it does the same?

Those codes look like their for the injectors for cylinders 1, 3, and 5. I'd double check those connections. The follow the YOTAWERX tuning guide from the top and dona re-flash followed by clearing the values mentioned in the tuning guide.

How do I check those connections? Which step on the manual I’m looking at for those?

Passenger side cylinder head is 1, 3, 5. Just look at the fuel rail(s) on that bank. What I don't know is which rail of injectors those codes are for since our trucks have port injection and direct injection...might as well check both.

Update: @Murd3rd helped me troubleshoot those 3 codes I was getting. It was a loose electrical connector that was affecting cyclinder 1, 3 and 5.
Re-did the YW flash process and everything seems to be operating properly. Truck is no longer vibrating crazy and no CEL is on now.

I have a busy day tomorrow so I’ll be taking it for a first spin later in the day and report back.

    Appreciate everyone’s willingness to help!
