There's a couple clips located along the roof channels that the OEM moldings mount to, so I'm curious what you did in those areas? Did you remove the clips?

Yeah it seems that the shop that installed my Prinsu way back when just threw them away I guess. I never saw them myself.

I bought the 3rd Gen version of those strips I linked and I used a bead of black silicon along each side to secure it to the roof. It’s worked like a charm.

I could snap one tomorrow for you but it wouldn’t show how the whole strip fits unfortunately. I just used a few pieces because the shop that installed my Prinsu left about half of the OEM strips in place. So I only had to fill those gaps.

I’m just trying to figure out if I can get away with those strips or have to get the OEM moldings for my PRINSU rack.

When you say “get away” with them, do you mean if they would fit length wise?

Aesthetically lol! Don’t feel like laying close to $300cdn for them lol! The roof rack was expensive as it is lol!

Oohhh lol I got you! Well the ones I bought for my 3rd Gen look identical to the OEM ones. They’re actually much sturdier and feel like they’re made much out of much better material.

The only thing I will warn you about is that the adhesive they come with didn’t work at all.
