Thanks! It's the @KB Voodoo Max Modular 10" rack with their locking cargo boxes instead of the typical horizontal accessory bars. I love it. Super functional and I'm stoked with how clean it looks.

 

I like these racks. He really did good making the locking cargo boxes.

We are looking at buying a Desert Armor Soldier XL RTT. Anyone have experience with these? Or know if there will be a deal soon? We are new to the Overland experience.

 

I have a gen 2. They're great tents. They did a good job of taking original owners inputs and making adjustments to the new ones.

They usually have sales going on, I post as I can.

I've seen sales($300 off) on the ninja and I think the soldier as well. For some reason they never put the warrior on sale. The best I've seen is $100 off. A 3% savings is not what I call a sale.

Now if they did $300 off the warrior, that's close to 10%, in which case I might just pull the trigger.

 

The Soldier is our first choice. If it goes $300 off, we would order immediately. We are now looking at the Tuff Stuff Alpha which is a little cheaper. Praying for a sale before we have need to order.

 

Has anyone experienced any leaking into the tent? I just came back from a trip where it was raining heavy all night and woke up to droplets of water coming thru where the zippers meet. My blanket was soaked.

Where what zippers meet? There shouldn’t be any leakin.

 

Yeah. Tuff stuff is cheaper. But I don’t like how high the shell is. But I see lots of them.

 

Anyone have pictures of a Warrior XL mounted mid height on a shortbed (5')? trying to get a sense of overhand over the tailgate. TIA.

 

I don’t have a picture. But it’ll overhang about 6-8”
