Having an issue that presents its self apx once a month.

    Under normal shutdown procedure:
    stop truck
    Foot on brake
    Put into park
    Single press push start/kill button

at this point engine and accessories turn off, but occasionally the accessories will turn back on with out pressing the button again.
radio/headlights/climate control all back on. At this point I can cycle through the button till accessories are fully off.
If I don’t notice , for instance radio is off climate control nominal but headlights are one. Vehicle will deplete battery.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    Lemme clarify:
    -In drive gear
-Press brake to fully stop vehicle
-While brake pedal fully depressed move gear to park
    -Remove foot from brake
Firmly and deliberately depress run/stop button fully once.

If you keep your foot on the brake after killing it , the accessories come back on?

Wait. Are the accessories turning off then back on again, or are the accessories never turning off?

Because if you shut down in neutral, truck kills the engine and immediately goes to acc mode (in case you want to continue listening to the radio).

So if it's going straight to accessory, it might be a shifter position issue. If it's shutting down and restarting, then it's probably a goblin infestation.

Yes, truck fully shuts down per normal. Then a few seconds later the accessories come on. As if you were to press the start button 2x.

Goblins. Or maybe it's a faulty start button switch.

try just pressing the button just enough to get it to shut down, not "Firmly and deliberately". you might be holding it long enough to sense the turn on acc only. just my 2 cents. i relate to my Samsung TV and to turn on with remote i have to just push power quickly, if i hold it too long it senses on then off.

My guess was gonna be bad PRNDL switch or something. Like truck thinks it’s in neutral when u shut it down then it keeps the accessories on. But that’s just a w.a.g.

It may be faulty start button, but restart sometimes solves problems. Disconnect battery and reconnect. Try if that will solve it. If doesn't, go to the dealer.
