Can anyone tell or show me what 12v wire under the steering column you spliced into for a hardwire radar detector install? I want it on with acc only. I’ve been searching forever without any luck. I’d rather splice to get this done today than go the route of adding a fuse kit since I have the kit of valentine 1. Thank you!

I also run a Valentine. I found it far easier just to tap power off the back of the rear view - no fuse kit involved. Sorry I cannot provide input on splicing under the dash.

Yeah, this is exactly what I did also! I saw this on Chloe Kuo's Youtube channel, and it is so dang COOL that I was surprised that nobody else had thought of it before! I plugged my front camera into it, and no wires hanging down, etc! With a splitter or something else, I can see being able to use the back of the mirror USB plug for many things, such as a GPS, and it would be a big help as it is with my camera setup. So like you, @Colemac4, I highly recommend this too!
