Thanks, I should be able to manage. I have taken the dash apart a few too many times already. I have a few other Meso stuff like chrome delete vents and custom switch panels. Just waiting on USPS to arrive with the switch so I can’t get it all done at once today.

Had Katzkin heated leather seats, door panels and arm rest done on the new Sport…very happy with them so far…oh, black and cognac…

That looks really good! Definitely impressed with Katzkin quality as I’ve driven a few cars with them in the past. Out of curiosity though, why didn’t you go with the premium package from Toyota?

I finally broke down and installed the Meso Total Tail Stage 1 kit this morning. Not quite as smooth as they show on the installation video but still simple to do and no need for resistors, which made me a happy camper. Very pleased with the upgraded functionality of the tail lights.

We went there for a week a couple of years ago and my wife had us looking high and low for the wild horses. Never saw one. Just showed her your picture and she is super jealous. :)

I originally did but because of all the shortages I wasn’t able to get it.
The dealer offered to install leather but the Katzkin dealer package only came in black, gray or tan…and they didn’t do the door panels or arm rest
I went directly to Katzkin and got custom colors, heated seats with door panels and armrest for another $400…worth it in my opinion…

Finished my swing out tire/gas carrier. It will be sand blasted and painted Monday. This was made specifically to fit my southern style offroad rear bumper. It uses the hitch and one of the recovery points for attachment. Ill post the finished photos after i pick it up.

Plenty of wires to even go up to the map/reading light if you have an empty spot for the switch.

Yeah dont have any up there. I'm now officially out of switch spots. Had to use the phone charger switch location. That one and the BSM switch are now removed and sitting behind the center console.

My Tacoma's Sunroof "exploded" for no apparent reason while driving 70MPH today.

So it's more of what "What did my Tacoma do to me today", type post.

This is common with sunroofs and Toyota sunroofs. Tends to happen when hitting higher speeds with the pressure. It's also more common at the beginning of summer when everything is expanding with the heat. Its happened on 3 of my moms toyotas.
I'm not sure how often you open yours but it's good to open them every now and then. I try to remember to open mine when temperature changes so the pressure and expansion can release from the glass.

Yep, heat. Exactly why I opted out of the sunroof option on mine in AZ. That and the weather stripping dries out and they leak. Motors are expensive to replace too.

Installed fox 2.0 w/resi’s in the rear to go along with my 2.5 resi’s up front. Very happy with the changes so far. Also playing around with a frame mounted go-pro mount I scrubbed together, partially using ideas from this site. It’s great to be able to watch the suspension cycle in real time while sitting in the cab.
