    Stayed in too.

Tore up maybe 5-6 boxes from all our packed up stuff and moved camping stuff to the garage.

Feels good making room and settling in a bit more.

Finally vacuumed/washed the truck for the first time in over a year today. Feels like a new vehicle. Only did it cause it needs to rain, and me washing the truck usually guarantees a washout a few days later.

Awesome. Settling in always surprises me, like it feels foreign until one day it doesn’t.

Currently chilling on the couch with the girlfriends dog. Perfect lazy afternoon

Yeah, to be fair it is a bit of effort. I became obsessed with the idea 20 years ago when jeep mag or similar did a $200 junkyard lift writeup and always thought it was neat

    How did it turn out?

Hardest part was collecting all the pieces I think, install wasn’t bad at all. That sounds like a fun article though, a lot of good research in those old magazines.

I’ve gone about 20 mi so far and I think its an improvement. The springs have arch to them now and I think it rides smoother. shackle angle looks better too.

I do think I’ll have to rework my shocks though , looks like I’ve got about 2” of down travel left :/

@6P4 was thinking about doing this too, but probably got tired of me not getting it done yet:laughing:

Noice, I'm sure you'd know in that time if it wasn't a success haha.

You gonna flex it out and measure/order new shocks or move the mounts?

Probably just move the mounts, but I should maybe measure and see what I’m working with.

Pass side one needs to be moved anyway, its a smudge too far outboard and contacts the ubolt top plate on occasion.

You get your axle(s) sorted out?

Too much water from all of the rains. The park on the left side of the damn is flooded.
