Well, they say necessity is the mother of invention -- (and at my old job cheapness was frequently the mother of malfunction...)

I believe I saved these springs from an old recliner chair, worked well enough to finish the lawn.

 

because if that were me...after holding on to those old recliner springs for a decade...mine would have gone out with last weeks garbage.

There was only one thing wrong with the burger.

I was too full to eat a second one. That and I didn't make a second one, but still.

 

On our way through Kansas City, my oldest wants to stop for some BBQ.

Simple, right?

Not super easy when my youngest doesn't eat meat.

I did find a joint that I think we're going to go to, though.

Right now it's just a little. Major storms passed North and South of us yesterday evening so just had some rain/thunderstorm.

We haven't had any good rain in several days. Next week is supposed to be close to 100 degrees. I've been trying to get things done before lunch , then take the afternoon off.
