I can hook you, or anyone else who's interested, up with a guy who lives right there on the Hopkinton side off of Adams St. He knows those trails like the back of his hand and rides there very frequently. We were both heavily involved in building stuff on the NEMBA parcel and general maintenance of the area for years.

There is a skills section that NEMBA is building at West Hill Dam. They have a large rock with a ramp up and down it and then there are 3 different size jumps/rollers. I saw those the other day when I went with Zach. What I didn't see because it wasn't there is a brandy new wall ride. Well needless to say I rode all 3 yesterday. Very very cool

Yeah, they're doing some nice stuff over at WHD. It's definitely becoming a destination ride in southern central MA.

As Pugga said, I'd definitely recommend walking and scoping any section of trail that you can't see past - there are some drops and gaps that come up out of nowhere if you're unprepared. If you want to hit a lot of features and work on jumps, drops, etc, the southwestern side of the network is where most of that is located. The north side is a large XC style network that has some technical features and rock gardens, but no jump trails or massive drops. Most of the features there do have a B-line to go around and they are pretty worn in so easy to spot.

Next time we go there, I'll send a PM to see if you're free. Pugga and I have a pretty good loop set up that's around 10 miles and does a lot of manageable features (nothing too gnarly) with just over 1K of elevation. Still working on getting my courage up to hit some stuff, but this is the year!

big river management area down in RI has a ton of trails too that's not far off from you. Pretty easy stuff out there, real fun spot with very low risk. My coworkers start with the mazd as a warm up and I wanted to beat them with a stick.

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago and was blown away! The fire road climb blows, but the downhill trails are something else. I would put them above Diamond Hill in terms of enjoyment - really spoiled in this area with the variety of trails to choose from.

There’s one drop Zach and I walked around pretty consistently. This is the year!

Used my big f’ing wrench and straightened the derailleur. took the new bike for a spin in Douglas; gobbled up the boulders and rock gardens - quite happy at the moment

Screenshot_20220608-153921_Connect.jpg Screenshot_20220608-153909_Connect.jpg Did a quick 5 miles down at the NAMBLA bike park in Milford. Incredibly slow again. However I apparently spent 30 minutes of 1:20 total time stopped and looking at the map trying not to get lost.

Love that place but it's pretty easy to get turned around with all the trails going every which way. Something looks like it may need calibrating on your elevations though - not sure you can get 3,600' of ascent there. How did you like the loop you did?

I'm not sure how it's getting 3600' either? I liked it, for me the best trail was "New Trail" just because I could move pretty well (for me) and it was pretty smooth and root free. I did not venture over into the more technical actual NAMBLA property, just stayed on the conservation land/ more cross country oriented side.
