Yuck. Already getting there

 

I knew a guy who had a pet store and lost his lease so he brought all of his parrots to his squeeze’s house. I did some work on her home. The dude would sit on the couch all day conducting business while smoking doobies and drinking coffee. All day long you hear the parrots doing his pothead cough and yelling “Adrienne, can you get me cup of coffee, babe” It was funny at first.

Tales From My Misspent Youth With Gritto

In college I knew a guy called James Dean (really).
Everybody referred to him as the Real James Dean.
(You had to be there )

He had a dorm room that was originally intended for a Resident Assistant, so it was 50% or so bigger than anyone else's.
He had a kickass stereo and a couple couches, so that was Party Central.

He also had a budgerigar (or parakeet if you prefer), which was often let out of his cage.
Of course he named him Bird.
Bird liked beer and if you called him and took a swig of beer, he'd come land on your shoulder and drink some out of your mouth.

Parakeets aren't as good at mimicry as parrots, but they can learn a few short phrases...
...especially if the owner raises them from a young age and takes the time.

Bird knew his name and James taught him a few phrases like "no shit" and "fuck off", usually followed by a whistle.
He had trouble with the B sound though, so "blow me" didn't sound quite right.

 

They are filing more paperwork (permits)
because of 20 different thing they left out of the plan that the town is pushing for . Just delaying the inevitable state denied the first permits . Hopefully the solar company botches the next round of permits
