Is the Camp Kitchen box water tight? Looks like a good one.

I have one of those. I haven’t had it in the rain so I’m not sure if it’s air tight or not. It’s a great box but, very bulky and heavy. I moved to a 8 gallon action packer. Much easier to navigate and smaller foot print.

As to rain? Yes. Dumping it into a river? No.
The way it's constructed, the joints and everything shouldn't leak into the body of it. Mine has sat through a couple storms with no issues.
The size is constable to a plano storage bin, but taller. I can close my tonneau cover over it. I have a soft cover though, and can't say for certain if that makes any difference

I just want to know how you got the spout to be square on the Reliant water container! I have 2 and I can't get them past the 4-5 o'clock position.

You don't have to tighten it all the way. Mine did the same thing. It didn't leak, but I also didn't keep it with the spout down when it wasn't in use

Agree, partially joking. It is usable just odd. When I don;t have it in use I actually turn it so the spout is on the topside. I don't trust it not to suddenly leak under pressure.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I have been using the spray stuff for 40 years now. BC is heavy with mosquitoes.

Spray all of my clothes, all exposed parts, and about 10 trips per year with the spray. It sucks, but the rewards of getting outdoors is worth it.

One time hiking into Skagit river for some fly fishing, I was wearing only shorts for wading the river that day, it was about 80F. Cooler and wet in the forest. Hiked through 1 mile of thick forest on a game trail, and I am just coated with the spray it is literally dripping off my exposed skin. I got surrounded by a horde of maybe 500 mosquitoes. Despite a heavier than recommended dose of that spray, I still got bit about 50 times in just 5 minutes. They were dive bombing into my eyes, nose, and ears, suicide missions.

As soon as I hit the beach and open sun, they took off as they don’t like the heat.

When I camp, I hang 4 burning mosquito coils around my camp spot. Old school, but works well.

How do you like that Kelly tarp with the GFC? I’ve been looking at that one or the similar Slumberjack, but the inability to open the side doors on the GFC has been what’s been keeping me from pulling the trigger.

It’s better than nothing, but this was likely my last time using it. I have a 4’ roam awning I’m gonna hang off the back as soon as I get these brackets notched out.

Seneca Rocks, WV. One of my first spots camping at since moving to the East Coast. Really pretty area.
