    Who is down for a run around Jones Gap in northern SC to Pretty Place in Matics honor on July 9th? I’ll throw this in the NC, SC and GA threads! Totally understand everyone won’t be able to make it! I think with Pretty Place being a spot they spread some of his ashes would be a great tribute and memorial for many of us that didn’t get to say goodbye!

    This is shocking news. We talked at length in PMs and texts. A lot about his grandfather's experiences in WWII flying and as a POW. And a lot of Air Force stuff in general. Great guy ... hard to process this. :(
