As usual, a big thank you to @Camerasandcoffee for taking the time to get great pictures and share them with everyone! I thought it was particularly awesome how quickly you posted pictures on Friday just to shut us up!

I'm going to echo what @Thatbassguy said. Had a great time and happy to meet a few new faces! Looking forward to the next get together.

I always tell myself I'm going to download the photos to my iPad when we get back to camp and never do. I always spent the time BS'ing with everyone. The good natured hazing made me actually do the thing!

So sad to have missed this trip! With kids finishing school and one going off to DC last night it was a busy weekend. I am headed off to Boulder Junction today to spend some time fishing and volunteering my services at Camp Manito-wish. Can’t wait to see you all eventually.

That 1st water crossing, I thought: damn, that's deep. Wasn't bad at all. After that, really, nothing bothered me. I should've done that climb onto that rock formation! Something to try next time. Can't wait to get to know y'all better.

Oh, on the way home, I turned the radio up so I didn't have to listen to the damned blinkers...too loud or too soft.

Sorry I couldn't make it! I *totally* could have leveraged my snorkel on that trip! I blame the inconvenience of my daughter's graduation. How could they put it on the same weekend? Looks like a great time.

So... I had a great time-you guys rock. @Thatbassguy thank you for putting this together. @jstemp Thanks for the landscaping tutorials! Bugs were bad, but the area was fantastic, the wheeling was great as was the company. Looking forward to more of this...

@jstemp said the group try's to do a run late September for apple fest up in Bayfield. They do northern parts of the TWAT (Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail) and this year I would be glad to lead some other routes for those who come north...

I was concerned about the water crossings as well. I have now confirmed that my rear diff oil shows no signs of water contamination.
Next mod will be the the breather relocate.

The group ride from Bayfield last year was a lot of fun and some beautiful scenery. I'm thinking personally leveraging this years into taking a few days and running the entire thing. Only because I have only done sections of it and haven't made it past Petosi. Hmmm wonder why.

Truck unloaded, everything cleaned and put away. Truck washed, engine bay washed (holy crickeys was that a mess!), interior wiped down and underside ignored. I'll have her clean by September is my guess. Miller time...

I went through the Kwik Trip wash and other than a lingering coat of bug carcasses still on the front bumper/grille it looks no worse than before I left. Engine bay and radiator surprisingly free of debris, got lucky! I have more wrenching to do in my near future so I'll get a closer look later but so far appears I came out relatively unscathed (though I didn't go as hard as yous guys).

Did find a tick attached on me last night. He hadn't started his meal yet and wasn't embedded just a little pinchy. Wondering how many more I'll find unloading the gear.
