Hello guys I've disappeared a while and still running the OVTune or VF Tuner now. If I download the new VF Tuner I should be able to get 2.0 or do I need to reach out to Matt/ tech support?

What do you mean "get 2.0"? It sounds like you haven't had vF tuner at all, and were only using OVTune.

Can I just download 2.0.X.EROM and still use the original Toyota Flash Manager? I thought everything switched over to VF Tuner. If so this would be a simple plug and load. Been 3 years since I've touched it all.

No that all went away a long time ago. You’ll need to upgrade to vF and request the tune pack for your ecu via zendesk

Do you have one of the orange OBD port readers from Matt? If so, then you're set. The new VFTuner reads the serial number. I personally skipped the 2.0 and went straight for the KDMax tune found here.

OP how did you get this problem resolved? Asking because I saved off the 2.0 OVTune files before Matt shut down the download page and yet, he omitted the one tune file that I now wish I had. It was straight up missing from the download folder.

I am hesitant to finish setting up VFTuner. To get OVTune to work, I had to do a pretty deep dive, found a bug for Matt regarding a missing DLL file from a Windows library, and he later added that manual work around to his installation instructions. Still, I ended up running the dongle version because after a lot of back and forth through zendesk, the donglefree just would not boot.

Now, I get this error when I go to download the tune I want. This weekend the reply from zendesk was sorry, can't share any PCM file with you. VFTuner customer service has been consistent for me, consistently TERRIBLE. I paid $600 honest dollars for his original product, OVTune, and he refuses to support it.

Why are you still trying to use PCM file rather than just upgrade tp VF tuner and get the tune pack? That is what I'm working on today, put in a request to Zendesk and will report back
