@bucktales I like the pipes on yours straight out the back. Pipes on my 68 stang were the same. Remember the day I installed Doug Thorleys and had the shop bend my pipes, I burnt half a tank of gas just riding around listening to the beautiful sound!

2 1/2 in Borla system coming off the headers.
When I put it together in the mid 90's, I sprung for stainless as I got tired of replacing all the crappy exhaust systems back then that rotted off in a few years.
She barks pretty good too.

We went to my sister's 50th wedding anniversary party last night. It was raucous. We're down to only 3 generations at the moment but that should change in a few more years. The littlest one was 4 I think, and I was one of the oldest! Eek!!

This Friday I had the privilege of having my sister's (she passed on at age 31 in 1974) daughter, her daughter and her new son over for the day. It did my heart good to have them here and to hold my Great-Great nephew. 4 generations of family. Life is good.

All is well. Just feeling a bit burned out of late and haven't been posting.

 

In 66 or early 67 I was driving downtown and noticed a gorgeous red 66 SS ragtop parked on the main street with Ohio plates on it. Noticed the exhausts came out behind the rear wheels and not at the rear bumper, ding, ding, ding, L-72 car, I stopped to look at it and met the owner who was in town doing work the local phone company. Bright red, white interior, and white top, that car was beautiful, I often wonder if it survived and is still around somewhere.
There was a guy in town that had a 67 hardtop in the early 70's, that hood had a single insert in the middle of the hood, it was similar to those on BB Cameros which had 2 smaller ones, but his had only 1 and bigger. I never saw the blister hood on one, but even that hood with the insert is also super rare.

Morning all . The old back is still killing me this morning. Can’t get in to neurosurgeon until Aug 3rd .

 

August 3rd?!?!?! That's, what 7 weeks away!

 

Yes . I’m still going even if the pain is gone by then . Due for an MRI . This is also a different Dr . He did 2 surgeries on my dads back and was also involved in the removal of my wife’s brain tumor 20 years ago .

 

All the Drs around here look at previous MRI and say oh yea you have arthritis and a bunch of bulging discs here’s a script for physical therapy. That’s it

Pretty sure I have a pinched nerve . Can’t get out of a chair without severe pain and I’m limping now ​

 

Not much is worse than back pain, hope you get relief soon! Did they ever suggest one of those inverting things? A guy I worked with got some relief with that. Take it easy for sure man!
