    That was very close!

The Tssc -Pre-collsion sensor. Operate after going 25 miles per hour, will give you “brake warning” on the front dash screen and alert noise. And if you do not react in time, the Tssc system will brake for you. After 25 miles or more. (Radar.)

It happen to my daughters 2019 Tacoma TRD. As she was driving the Tacoma , for some unknown reason the car in front slow down quickly, my daughter didn’t notice this. Before she could react, the Tacoma apply the brakes for her. Saving her from a rear end collision.

The PSC adjustment only provides how early you want the warnings, High , standard or low. The distance. You can turn off the pre- collision sensor, but automatic will turn back on , at every restart.

lucky or skill, for my daughter “lucky”.

Many parking garages do have a over hang. You can see the cement been hit many times.
I rented a car and back up into the stall, lucky it was not a van, only after a came out, I saw the over hang, whew!

Getting close is so much better then getting a “hit”. As they say, “ that was a close call”.
