Nice! I still believe that the F4i/929/954 color schemes are the best! Don't care too much for the gray/white, but all the rest? Beautiful!

That is good news. Seems the PO knew something was up with the engine and a little guilt might have set. $2200 seems fair. With the $2500 that you got back you would recoup most of your loss.

In a bizarre turn, I listed the bike yesterday and got a reply this morning from a guy asking if I bought it near West Chester, PA (which, yes, I did). Hoping he gets back to me with how he guessed that!

So, he said he was thinking of taking a look at it when he saw it on CL and wondered if it was the same one. Had a few questions for me, so maybe... :fingerscrossed:

Always entertaining, even if I already know or am not into the topic of the day, I always watch his videos like I would watch an episode of a show, just for the few one liners and a chuckle for the day haha.

For sure! I cackled at "Aren't scooters for girls? - Nope, none of the inanimate objects care that I have a penis"

shame that the scooter is under appreciated in america...

def a cultural thing in part, from having big displacement v8 motors and relatively inexpensive fuel for so many years, we really never "needed" scooters here

it really is so much fun though, so easy to use and its just as fun as riding any bicycle or any bigger motorcycle imho

Anyone on here have a drone? I bought one the other week (DJI Mini 2) and am trying to think of where to store the controller on the motorcycle while it's up doing it's thing.. I'm wanting to try Litchi and it's ai follow me stuff so I can be riding while it's filming, but also have easy access to the controller to step in if needed and start/end the flights.

I currently don't have a tank bag but have spent all morning looking at them. I could probably make one of my kriega bags work in a pinch, but not sure how great a roll top would be for quick access. Not sure if I'm missing some cheaper obvious solution though? Toss it under an elastic net?

    On the list:
    - mosko moto nomax - 260 :)drool:)
    - giant loop diable - 250
    - Tusk Olympus - 100
    - Nelson Rigg trails end lite - 72
    - wolfman enduro wp - 152

    It’s also a more scale/size thing.

I’ve been all over Asia/SEAsia where you can get anywhere you need to pretty close/quick.

I always laugh when Europeans brag that they’ve been to several countries so they’re a traveler when that’s the equivalent of us going to a few new States in a lifetime ha.

I wouldn’t want to drive the 100 miles to my folks place on a 50cc scooter to visit and back.

Finally found a bike near me …

was further down on my “to buy someday” list, but nothing else is popping up and it’s a good price. Should seal the deal early this week, hopefully.

Home safe from my GA trip. Roughly 750 miles today straight through with only fuel/bio breaks. Covered it in 11 hours 15 minutes with 3 stops. Had a bird misjudge my speed and pay for his mistake with his life. Nothing damaged on bike but need to wash his blood and feathers off the bike. Found his feet on my ignition switch. Sorry no pics as I didn’t have time to stop.

In my recent search for a bunch of random bags/accessories I looked at a bunch of molle bags. Good thing is that the “tacticool” fad reached several hobbies so there are task specific molle bags for damn near anything you can think of. Camera or document bags might work as well as fist aid type pouches. How quickly do you want to access the controller? Also what does it look like? I might be able to help you find something.

Molle is a great idea, I hadn't thought of that. The controller itself is about 8" tall, 6.5" wide (with the connector that goes into the phone, 6" without) and the sticks make it pretty deep, I'd guess 2.5 or so inches. If I'm about to run it into a tree, it'd be nice to have fairly quick access to it, but keeping in mind I'd be having to stop the bike first in order to even use it. Some of the tank bags have a fairly substantial lid to them, my thought with those would be to flap the lid shut, but not zip it, and hope it goes fine while riding and doesn't bounce out. I'll have to start doing some googling and see if I can an appropriate pouch and some way to fasten it to the tank. Or I guess even the side crashbars as a mount point could work with some loops, I suppose.

    Edit: maybe a binocular case?

Bonus pic of the apache case I got for it that I'll eventually mod to mount on the tail (or when I use it with the 4runner)

    That SV650 colorway is gorgeous.

Ooof. I had a bat rip off the top of my wind screen before, no blood but scared the crap out of me.

I’m a little torn on it. I will powder coat the frame and wheels eventually (years down the road) if I end up getting it this week, and probably paint the tank and build a new subframe. We shall see.

Blue is just “better than red” for me at this point.

I was wondering if y’all think I’ll miss the ABS. This model doesn’t have it and I’ve only ever had one or two mishaps where it kicked in on my other bikes but we shall see. I’ll find it’s limits after I pick it up and get it home.
