    That area looks so CLEAN!

I have the TRD Skid and will post a pic of the same area with plate in-place.

That's cool...I have not taken any action to secure this area. Isn't there a lock for the "Lowering Screw"?

Slapped some new shock towers on, fixed a couple broken skid plate bolts, changed every fluid in the truck, took my swingout off and re configured my bed setup. Officially ready for the Rubicon, now to battle out the work week then its go time!

Update, stayed last night in lewis and clark state park Washington, and tonight im in a first come first serve camping spot on Green Lake British Columbia. Learned a few things... border patrol Canadians and not nice lol, my dog barked at him and I dont think he liked that so I got stopped at the border for a few....

second and trying to see if this is normal so if anyone knows please let me know. When using adaptive cruise control and its starts slowing itself down the truck only uses its brakes and not the trailer brakes. But when I hit the pedal or disconnect the cruise my trailer brakes are work great. Just seems lioe it should be using the trailer brakes even in cruise

Overall great trip thus far, still handling the trailer great and beautiful places all over.

Love this. What did you use to extend the wiring?

Jealous you got yours already. I'm impatiently waiting for mine to show up.

I thought the same thing and I took the picture. Another view from yesterday.

It was late in the day, florida sun from the west and I did have my flash on. Tires are all 35 psi.

My son just bought his first Tacoma. Bought himself a 2022 Access Cab SR in white for $1000 over what he could have gotten a 2017 used one for.

i’m not sure man, there might be. I have new trd pro rim on my spare so i added the lock just cause and to do what you did and take up the chain slack. Good old California….it’s a problem out here- people steal your spare wheels and then when they get enough, they sell them as a complete set on craigslist lol

So noticable difference? And where exactly does this go? Towards the top of the bed or bottom.

My brother is on the market, last week he went to a dealership and looked at some Tacoma's, he found one he liked (used) 2021, white, Sport, 4X4, manual, double cab long bed, 17K miles listed for $48k.

He called me after he left (didn't buy) and said WTF is going on, $50K?! Used! lol

Sounds like your son got a pretty good deal though

Yes, now I hear the wind noise from my side windows and not from behind me. This may be more noticeable of a difference with an AC as opposed to a DC.
I ran a piece of coax through the pool noddle and then stuffed it up from the bottom feeding it from the right side over the muffler and fuel tank. It is pushed up just a bit from the bottom of the box/ cab and then used the coax cable to make sure it was straight. This takes 2x people to pull upward on the coax cable and then tip the outside ends downward so water etc. will run off.
