I stay away from meme stocks but like to watch. Money to be made if you’re in early if it takes off and money to be lost if going in at the top or holding too long. If I had some I would be selling right now if not yesterday lol.

I actually use redbox, not so much the kiosks these days but for streaming movies when I get a discount code. They also have free movies with commercials.
Redbox was too slow to get into streaming when it should have been obvious the kiosk rentals were gonna die, now they face a headwind with all the other streaming services out there that are far ahead of them. Terrible management.

Could be worse, at least you still have a job. I’m fully retiring in August. I’m fucked.
At least I have 3 years of cash before I draw off stocks and bonds. That way I only lose 8% a year on the cash due to inflation. Always gotta look on the bright side lol.

Well glad I only put like 500 bucks into crypto. Now its worth like 60 bucks Ad well everything is red so I am not looking at anything today.

 

I wish my company would allow me to take the 10% of my 401k and use it for my mortgage instead of the stocks. I'd rather have that as retirement for the future than some A'hole profiting off my wins and losses in NYC. Just saying, what's more important than having a roof over your head that is strongly tied to your own well being?

True! But at least I have control over a tangible asset unlike the stocks (however you invest). I'm actually living in my home, using it, investing in it. Stocks.....not so much.
