    Hello TW!
Got some new suspension about 5 months back. It's been squeaky since day one and I figured it would ease once broken in. Well it's gotten worse especially as my window is down more with the warmer weather and my truck sounds like an old beater.
Took it to the shop, got it up on a lift, and saw that the bottom of the coilover is rubbing the sway bar on both sides.
This is an icon coilover with stock sways.
    Has anyone seen this?
    Any solutions?
I've attached a photo though it's not great.

Thanks for the quick reply @8ighty9ine
Just dove down the rabbit hole of taking the sway bar off. Seems like with stiffer suspension, like mine, people don't notice many negatives if any.
Any pros/cons between the drop kit or removing the sways completely?

It's cheaper to try removing it first and only takes about 15 minutes. I yanked it off and I don't miss it.

    I drive a Miata.
Sway bar relo kits vary between 20 and 40 dollars.

I kept mine because I'm 90% on road and towing, and I like having the cornering performance.

Its a preference, whichever style you prefer, but either option is equally easy.

Can't see it in your picture but if your coilover is like mine (Icon 2.5") there's 2 bushings at the bottom... the longer one gets installed on the forward side to give the coilover clearance with the sway bar. Also, did your Icon upgrade come with sway bar relocation mounts?

This is not an authoritative opinion, but I suspect you won’t notice the sway bar being off during normal driving, however you might notice it on the track or in oh-shit moments trying to avoid a traffic accident. Since I don’t take my truck to the track, I see the anti-roll bar as a safety device.

Alternatively, there might be a government regulation that requires manufacturers to install an anti-roll bar, but it doesn’t make all that much difference.

I’m skeptical Toyota added one for no reason.

Perhaps you could take it to the track with and without the anti-roll bar and report back with your findings.

Sounds like a fun day either way!
Thank you for the reply as I dive in to the direction I want to go.
Likely will take it off and see how it feels without one.

I bought these off another TW member so no relocation kits.
They are the 2.5s so I will get under there and see if I can adjust if they are mounted the wrong way.
    Thank you

I saw the kits were fairly cheap so that's good to have that as an easy option
