The on topic forum is just 3 posts recycled endlessly:

    - What tires should I get?
    - What lift should I get?
    - Why does the [current engine] suck so much?

The rest of this place is the off topic stuff.

Mine was an H&R Topper model. this pic shows the little lever on the right side you pressed with your thumb and the barrel would drop right down.

I got to eat woodchuck. I was 12. Out shooting in the backyard to get super dialed for deer season. I was shooting 125g broad heads. Out come this dumb fucking wood chuck. It'a about 60 yards out and right at the edge of the wood line. I pull back and take aim. Then I let the arrow fly. It hit dead nuts center mass in the chest.

About 8 seconds later my grandpa comes up behind me. Fuck my life.

I wasn't planning on hitting the thing. It was WAY far out. I did and I tracked it with his help. Then gutted it. Then skinned it. Then boned it. Then he handed all the meat to my grandma. I ate that stew for the next 3 days. No one else in the family had a bite. Lesson learned.

Interesting, isn't it, how those memories and lessons stay with us for life. Not to sound too old and jaded, but kids these days aren't having the same experiences we went through. Now a days the kids are tracked every moment of their lives. God forbid you get a pocket knife or a BB gun. I mean, I'm sure it's still like that in some parts of the country, but when I was growing up, Seattle was still a small-ish city and you could live 20 miles away and still hunt in your backyard. All gone now.

For over 20 years my high school had the best football team in the state. Now? Nobody plays because you can get "hurt".

That's the gun. I had the same one. It was way too heavy for me when I got it lol. I used a single shot .410 most of time, but by the time I was big enough to use the H&R 16, My grandpa bought me an Remington 870.

I dropped it off the duck boat when I was probably 14 and it belongs to the ocean of Washington now lol.

Sounds like the warden had an eye on your blind all morning. I never got checked by a warden while duck hunting. They just never passed down our road even with all the shooting we did. We never did anything illegal though. I never shot a black duck before because I believe they’re the smartest fuckers around. At least around here since they stay year round. They know every decoy spread and feed call in the area. They’ll always circle high and land juuuuust out of range. I have tried a few pot shots with 3-1/2 though lol

    Ok, back to business...
Was it an intentional leak that Powel may go .75?
    It had to be.
And with that in mind, I have to think it's priced in.
I'm long overnight. And having been thru 2000-2003, and 2007-2008, part of me says I just f'd up bigtime.
    But the futures are green.

So, I don't know. At the time, I bought in with like 5 minutes left because I knew that sell-off was coming, I bought in at damn near the lows of the day.
    We'll see.
Like I said, if history is any guide, I may have screwed the pooch on this one. $275 on QQQ may have been a huge suckers trap.

If we rally out of the gate tomorrow, I will take the quick profit and then sit back and watch.

Have you guys done ok over the last month?
There's no way I'm inclined to read 100 pages or whatever it is.

I guess if you're still here, that's a good sign.

I see you’re a victim of a tragic boating accident too, my condolences.

Lost my AR and all my mags/ammo in a tragic boating accident

Sorry ATF, I really would have handed my guns over if I still had them

OK, its posts like this that inspire me to jump in with some verbal expression of my feelings on things like this, and we already know what happens, I'll get banned again.
    So quit. :D

Boats are made to drop things from. Dropped a fishing rod in Lake Norman in about 20 ft of water but was able to fish it out with another rod.
Worst drop was my son dropping from the canoe into the water our compass we needed to navigate the many lakes we travelled across in Canada lol. Fortunately the other party we were with had theirs but actually I had topo maps and knew where we were anyway. Moral of story minimum of two compasses when in the wilds.

I dropped the motor into the lake. That was funny as hell. 6 HP Evinrude. One foot on the dock. One foot in the stern of the boat. Grabbed motor off dock. Boat moves away from dock. Matt does the splits while holding a 6 HP motor at chest height. It was either drop the motor or risk being pulled apart. I dropped it. lol
