Evening folks! I did a little tour of the northeast Sunday and met 7 rescues. My final stop was in Danbury CT. One of the rescues had a cat from the previous transport that wasn’t a good fit so they returned it to me. Well me having the devious mind I have I sent a video to kitty korner in Barre Vermont and was able to get them to take the cat while I was in the neighborhood. So instead of heading home I’m in Manchester Vermont this evening there’s probably going to be fishing tomorrow. The cats happy I need a little down time there’s nothing sinister going on here:anonymous:

yep. gonna take a while to fix the damage, and no telling how much worse it will get. factor in more traffic on fewer roads and fewer camps and its a disaster.

I should feel bad I knew if I sent her the video I made with the cat I was going to be headed to Vermont this morning. But the cat is where it belongs so all is well!

I don't know about that, I spent a lot of years driving forklifts, and they didn't always get the steering wheel facing the right direction on those.

We’ve been watching this. Hopefully everyone stays safe. Glad you got out when you did.

It’s awful seeing the floods destroying the roads, bridges, and towns.
We’ve been checking in on her a couple of times a day. :)
She’s a curious little thing. Did you see her messing with the camera a few weeks ago?

Prayers for a safe evacuation where needed, strength and patience. My one Aunt lives near Livingston. Her and husband are high enough they will be safe, however, won't be going anywhere for several days.

Good morning everybody :hattip:. I had a surprisingly busy weekend, nothing major but little things that kept me going.

Spent yesterday in the pool with the wife as the heat index was 108 here. Doesn’t look as bad today due to predicted thunderstorms this afternoon but the high heat warnings come back with a vengeance for the rest of the week. I don’t see a lot of outside work this week.

@MTgirl I saw the flood reports from the Yellowstone area yesterday. Glad you made it home.
