My wife has now given me a mission.

A few years ago, a traveling nurse came through her hospital. In talking with her, she's the granddaughter of WC Handy.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W._C._Handy

My wife wants me to stop at Handy Park in Memphis and take a picture of his statue. I told her it depends on when we're going through there.

Bought my Boston Whaler a year ago. Have been using my brother's outboard motor since my Merc 9.9 wasn't running.

Finally got around to rebuilding the carburetor, new fuel filter etc. Checked compression, verified kill switch wasn't killing it, still wouldn't run.

Then I played with the primer button. It ran as long as the primer button was constantly pressed.

In the end it was the carb air/fuel mixture screw. Some bozo before me turned it all the way in. 1.5 turns out and she runs like a ***** a**! :taco:

    :101010: very nice!
On that spark plug, I'm pretty sure that it just wasn't tighten sufficiently. I've never been one to "farm tighten" things. Should use a torque wrench more often, I sometimes do.:notsure:

Goodmorning crew. Hope the flu bug passes through and done with. I felt a little flu like last week but just one day.
Any of you notice more ants in the yard this year? A coworker told me ants were horrible at his place this year and I said yeah, same! He lives 50 miles South of me. These are the smaller variety with tiny mounds all over the place.

Good morning friends! Came to work this morning but don't know how long I'll be staying. Sweating like crazy and my lower back/kidneys are hurting awful. Sadie still has a fever this morning but she feels fine. Cole had a fever last night and felt bad, not sure if he still has one this morning or not.
Yawl have a blessed day :hattip:

Not a good update but still good to hear from you. Hope everyone gets on the better side soon.
Remember to drink plenty of water -- good for you and cheap too!

Never seen any ants in the house yet, but same tiny little ones with mounds all over in the yard. I've even put plenty of pesticide down.
Very large wolf spiders were bad 2-3 years ago but it's early to be seeing the large ones. I am somewhat careful about pesticide applications though because of the kittens around, there are a few areas haven't been treated because of them. Years ago when I moved to Arizona my cousin lost a litter of puppies because the bug spray man got a bunch of the bug killer in the straw where momma dog had her puppies.

We have ants everywhere. I've treated the yard and it helped but they are back again. Have had some in the house too, them big black ones.
