Thanks buddy. I was still exhausted from Friday. After getting back home super late and going to a ceremony for my son. I only had 3.5 hours of sleep and then had to drive to Buffalo that night.

Sounds like you could use a day off, get some rest when you can try not to drive to tired.
You know how dangerous that can be...

What do y'all think of a day on the water? This was Mr. Farts idea and I think it looks like it could be lots of fun. As of now planning this for 8/13 or 8/14. Read thru and let's hear some thoughts.

I did this years ago. We did the whitewater rafting thing.

I'm bringing my boonie or a ball cap. The top of my head is peeling from when I washed/detailed my truck.

Yeah my last day on the water I wore a long sleeve under armour. I usually only go out for an hour or two, I don't worry about that. But a whole day I go full Canadian.

I got extra boonie hats from work I can bring. Definitely sounds like fun.

I think I have an extended weekend so I might take it as an excuse to head somewhere but august heat kind of sucks to sleep in a tent.. so I’m down to be on the water lol

Could kip up at the airfield in Somerset VT, might be toasty but usually at night it dips pretty comfortably.

Yeah I am considering thereabouts. Any reason to do the airfield versus some of the dispersed camping in the area?

The airfield is dispersed, free, ....and I know about it  that's the only reason why - also there's a reservoir there we could paddle about in on the second day or whatever the schedule is. Just a thought.

I'm not attached to anything really.

    OHhhh like a kayak destination.

I use iOverlander to find dispersed camping. It's an app I use on the phone (theres a website too I think), crowd-sourced info. Very useful as when I went to Utah it helped us find places to stay but even like where to refill water. I just look for the icon with a tent with the moon over it. People post pics.

There's one spot thats like a bald with 12 spots? I chickened out after the first half were during Memorial Day weekend and the trail got really rough *for me* as I was going in solo.

Depending on when and where you live I like wrenching. :D

If not me I'll bet someone close will give you a hand.

Do you have everything or waiting on parts?
