On a hardtail and half shell, absolutely nuts. I've been seeing the progress they have been working at on Gentle Giants, that jump is no joke I walked it last week and was blown away. Respect!

For real! 2 more of my buddies also hit it with a hardtail and half shell helmet. And another one was wearing a road bike helmet . I got those on video but no pics. I stuck to the smaller jump lines by the lift, but still felt uncomfortable on a borrowed bike and slip-on Vans shoes. Watching them made me feel like that’s no excuse haha.

I've only gotten the small and medium lines down comfortably (first season of bike parks) but the large and XL lines got my jaw dropped, that booter on Gentle Giants is no joke, I walked it and you're staring right at the sky, it's so terrifying I can't imagine doing that haha. How did you like powder ridge overall? It's not much but especially being the only CT bike park and only 35min from me, I've been enjoying going there a lot. Next closest would be Thunder Mountain at 1.5hr north.

Haha I rode up that wooden ramp and immediately said nope! Powder Ridge is a lot more legit than I imagined. Especially that new jump line currently being worked on. Growing up my father would take me snowboarding there and called it Powder Bump haha. But they definitely make good use of what they have. The only other bike park I have been to is Highland in New Hampshire which was my first downhill experience and super fun. Hoping to make it out to more parks in my area, definitely want a full face helmet though.

@y=mx+b judging by your user name, I think your expertise is more in the elastic (linear) range, so I’m not sure you have credibility about plastic (non-linear) strain. :) But seriously, to the OP, don’t worry about a scratch in your bars. Or just do the Sharpie thing.

Any of you guys see these Infinite Rule locking hitch pins for our super expensive bike racks?

Amazon has them for like sub $40 and they look beautiful. Going to order one right now.

Good thing it’s an S4. Interest was peeked when you mentioned selling it. Now I can relax without temptation.

Went for the first rip on the new bike with my buddy today! checked a lot of boxes today: stopped quickly for someone stopped in the middle of a trail at the bottom of a downhill section, forgot to lower my seat and almost got yeeted, and we took a wrong turn down a black trail but caught our mistake before getting into something sticky.

I can definitely see the value of a dropper now. $150ish is a small price to pay for not getting launched

I took a trip out to the Crested Butte/Gunnison, CO area last weekend to give the GFC another run and celebrate my friend's 24th B-Day. I don't get out to that part of the state much, so it was a good time! Also, camping margs rock!

Did some Florida camping this weekend. Rode some of the trails at Chuck Lennon Park and they were a good time for Florida trails.

Other side. It is a window unit. Newer models now have a heat pump that no one is particularly happy with.

It’s so hot in Alabama right now, a/c is all I can think about. Sucks to hear about the newer models.
