I drove across Florida to get a set of shocks that were already assembled because of how much I hate spring compressors. I’ve had to use them when working on a friend’s cayenne and they are not only a pain, but also terrifying. Good on you for getting it done though, that definitely took some patience.

Restored the "4x4" figures on the rear mudflaps. It had been bugging me since I got the truck last year. The right side was almost completly gone/faded as like most of them I see. I used a white oil-based paint Sharpie pen. It says the paint will adhere to just about any surface. The paint flowed out real nice when the point is pushed in.
I think it turned out pretty nice.

Changed out the air filter on my 06 4.0 today. Amazon is amazing! Noticed front bumper is kind of loose and probably vibrates when driving. There are two mounting holes at the center of the bumper with nothing in them!

1st time I did this myself, cold sweats and all.......second time I was wiser and paid someone to do it. They actually did it for free for me so I tip'd the guy who did it $50. 2 different shops couldn't do it. Eventually it was an RV suspension shop that did it for me putting eibach pro's on my 5100's. Even the RV mechanic struggled but got it. I have nightmares starring the MacPherson Spring Compressors.:der:

 first thing I do when I unplug or get a new battery.
I think there is a different combo for the later 2nd gens.

My mud flaps didn’t make it a month when I bought my truck. First time I got off pavement I lost a front and a rear. Pulled them off and left them in a trash can before I even came home.

Well, I only had 2.....and I still had to drive the opposite way down the road that removed the other two. I figured the truck or the road was trying to give me a hint.

Had to make some changes. Swapped to a different toolbox and dropped in a Softopper. Getting ready for camping season when it cools off again.
