How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

My sales rep contacted me today, out of the blue. He is saying that my truck will be released next week, and I should see it shortly after that.

FYI - I am part of the 5/24 Chicago QC hold group.

We will see if it actually happens, but this is the first time he's given me an idea about arrival.

I did not get them with my Tacoma SR Access cab 2wd with the utility package.
In fact it only came with the front all weather floor liners. Nothing for the access cab portion behind the seats

Week 13 build (built on time), at Baja. Arrived by rail in Chicago on 5/15, placed on QC hold on 5/24.

 

I was scheduled for week 13 but built in week 17 in Baja. The truck was placed on hold 5/24 but the rail arrival was 6/8. I wonder if it will be another month (4 weeks from rail arrival).

Mine was off QC hold this weekend (when I also found out the truck was in Princeton Indiana not Chicago)

 

Mine has been at port since the end of March. ETA is now saying August.

 

Is ETA working again in the Web page hack?

 

Both are still showing "A" status, which would mean they haven't shipped yet, but check with @Rod03 for better intel.

This is per the dealer. First eta was end of March. Has changed 6 times to the latest eta of August.

 

In case it helps anyone here who has yet to place a deposit for an non-built allocation, your sales rep/dealer might have the ability to control over what packages can be taken taken off or on to a truck that has yet to be built. Example, the original build for my allocation was set to include an additional $15k in packages, but the dealer was able to cancel those $15k upgrades, and turn the build into a fairly standard OR. This is what happened to my truck according to the dealership.

 

Did it have the gold leaf package? 15k in upgrades........

 

I'm not familiar with all the packages, but what I do recall is that it was supposed to be lifted. At $15k in upgrades, I assume it would have come with all available accessories and packages, which I did not need. So I was surprised when they told me that they could remove them from the build.

 

So my truck's temp VIN just became no longer available today, I got the new VIN from the sales rep and the toyota tracker webpage shows its already in "G" status it was built from the Baja plant and heading to SF Bay Area, are they always that fast getting to California?

 

The truck was built around 5/7, and was a week 14 build. It took a couple of weeks to get to port, then moved to QC on the 24th.

Lucky me, Toyota upped the price by $450 since then. The dealer said they have to charge the new sticker price. I’m paying $900 in added packages (markup), which is way less than all of the dealers in my area. They also said I have to use their financing, but after a little negotiation, they said I can use my own if they can’t get me a better rate than what I already have.

 

@lil gelato just checked mine on Vspec and still showing qc hold on mine unfortunately. Hoping you get lucky and get a phone call.

 

Took delivery of DCSB TRD Off-Road. It has the Tech Package before they apparently canceled the BSM. For those wondering, I found the truck on 5-10, placed a deposit on 5-13, truck was built on 5-23/24, and delivered to the dealership on 6-11.

 

What color? I can't tell.
