Do you think my Dremmel tool would do it with those fancy metal cutting blades? (semi-serious question ...if it results in me being made fun of then it's a joke)

Now I have to deal with this mess my claim is already been filed time will tell to see how long it takes to get this vehicle fixed. Wish me luck

My daughter is funny. She always wants to push peoples buttons but in this case everyone who drives is suffering. I guess it’s laugh and drive or sit at home and cry.

I'm not sure on that. I don't predict you will have a good time though. A grinder with a cutoff wheel is the preferred tool for this. I know with my Archive u-bolts even my sawzall has a tough time cutting thru them.

    Oh look, another mod....
No shit. It's that time of year when the only time we have "Cool" weather is at 3 - 5 am, when the temp drops to (wait for it)....88 degrees. I think in July & August our low is higher than some states high temps.

    Freakin' Texas man.....

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Added a Rhino-rack Sunseeker 2.5m awning, and some Rhino-rack Stow It’s for my boat oars. I am offroad on solo remote trips every week, often twice per week and a number of those areas have no trees to hang my tarp. Plus my oars are 6.5 foot long and take up too much back of bed space when the truck is fully loaded.

So the awning will help with the frequent rain here in BC, and some shade when it gets too hot.

Heck, I am soon 65 and still using a ground tent and that with a seriously beat up body (3 years work disability for neck and back), so every small luxury helps. Can’t afford the rooftop tent so there you go. I like roughing it, so doing it while the glue still holds the body parts together.
