    Yeah pretty much

But in reality, I have not been. Wife and I have a road trip to Montana planned for Spring 2023. We’re starting to discuss where we wanna go in 2024 and we’re thinking Telluride/Moab.

That's awesome. Are you gonna do some hiking/camping/wheeling out in Montana?

Definitely hiking and off-roading but I’m not building my truck out to be a crazy wheeler so nothing too extreme, more “overlanding” type stuff (I hate using that term but it’s the best way to describe it lol).

No camping sadly because the wife refuses to sleep outdoors but I’ll take that trade off since she’s willing to drive cross country in the Taco haha

Yes!! I’ve been trying to figure out who he is because we keep driving past each other and waving like once a month but we never have time to stop and chat. He’s the one that turned me onto BillieBars.

+1 on the "overlanding" term, lol. Just makes me feel like the rest of the population. "They" have turned it into something that I just feel like I don't wanna have anything to do with. I just use the term wheel/wheeling. But hopefully you're excited. It's always fun to take your rig off-road, no matter the level of difficulty involved. I don't wheel my truck these days, but every year we go down to the OBX and I try to make it a point to get it on the sand at least some. Just to remind myself that I've still got it, if you know what I mean, lol.

Women can be funny about that kind of thing. My old lady doesn't do the camping thing either, but whatever. I'll take my boys as they get older and show them the way. It's always a good time to get out of your element and comfort zone and experience new things. Maybe I just like being outside a lot.

Haha man I met him at a car wash in Annapolis. Super cool dude and told me he had bought the truck and drove it straight to World Tour Off-road for $12k suspension, wheels, tires, front and rear lockers and then was driving it to MOAB and had never been off roading before. Pretty cool that he just did the damn thing

Damnit I thought you were gonna say you know him lol the elusive silver taco man lives on!

And so it begins, the anti-overlanding overlanding club was formed on this day.

I went to Montana/Wyoming/Idaho/Colorado last year. I was with my brother and giving him the choice between Colorado and Moab, he chose the boring of the 2.

But Im getting another opportunity to go to NW Montana in 8/2023, so maybe Ill be able to get to Moab then.

    Pics for attention
