Thought about doing that. Pressure test will let me know what's bad. If I can get away with a $20 seal and 30 minutes, I'd pick that over $100 and several hours.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    That brought back memories!!

Dragging a 4 wheel red wagon behind the horse ! We had to be much tougher in those days the spills we took no one ever had a serious injury.

We pulled the front axle completely off then hooked the rope through the body .

Once you go down the CNC road, there is no going back.

I built my CNC plasma table from scratch. I have no regrets except it is a time suck!

There is no end to the things you can fabricate once you learn how they operate .

I'm glad I built my own. I know how to fix it if it gives me shit...it will give you shit.

I regret nothing except the space it takes up.

I'm at around $3400 building mine.

This vacuum tool below is dual purpose. Pumps out pressure or can switch to vacuum.

Then I bought a gear oil pump kit that screws into the drain or fill plug. Will attach the hose and adapter to the vacuum tool. Add 5-10 PSI and see if it holds pressure for a minute or two.

My wife is stil taking medication for whatever mystery illness she had. Guess the sunshine and some of those meds don't mix very well, and she learned this the hard way. She better now.

A little soapy water too, look for bubbles.
Working on a two stage vertical condensate pump yesterday and today. Ran into a snag yesterday and had to get engineering involved for direction. The new impeller we were going to install is slightly different and the measurements for lift and set ring not working per procedure. I think they will tell us today, just install the old one. There were no performance issues with the pump, just routine PM. The clearance on wear ring out by about .004" or .002" per side.
