I have gone to the dark side and bought a Tundra , but I saw a baby bro taco tonight in Tarpon Springs and had to snap a pic. I do miss my taco, but I’m loving the Tundra too.

Been good! We had 18"+ drop back in mid April. I was the only one to show up to work for the first 3 hours of opening the tower lol.

How's everyone back down there? You guys still doing Citrus? Man I miss those meets

She's doing good! Tacoma has been down the last almost 2 months, so she's been getting dailyed. Needs an ignition system refresh and new PCV. Other than that, nothing really major other than I can't for the life of me get the tcases to stop leaking. Thankfully this time around its a very slow leak lol

Just gotta bleed the brakes now! Had to replace axle seals and rear wheel bearing units, but this also led to me finding my drum brakes were absolutely shot to hell, so I decided to pull the trigger on the disc kit I've been eyeing for awhile now

Unfortunately we kinda dropped the ball on the regular Citrus meets thanks to Covid. I sold the OGT to Thorny Mike due to financial hardship so I've officially sold out to the T4R side...and while the OG4 (or Natty as she was called by Mom) has earned her trail stripes, she's far too purty to beat the crap out of like I did the OGT.

Right now, my goal for the off-road adventures is to get a 6th or 7th Gen Honda Civic Coupe and hack it up, basically cut it off from the firewall forward and from the rear window back and build a tube buggy around it (gotta have A/C and an enclosed cabin to keep the mud out). In theory it would be powered by a Ford Truck Coyote engine with the 8-speed auto and it'd be sitting on tons with 38s. Oh, and it'd be street legal. I doubt it will ever happen but ya never know.

Alternatively, I may get a Rav4 Hybrid for work, but I still don't know if I'd have the heart to turn the OG4 into a true trail rig. Right now I'm more focused on my other passion, long range target shooting. The goal there is to take my 6.5 Creedmoor out to a mile and hit a 3'x3' steel plate and be able to repeat it.

Love those wheels in black, I was looking for some for a while but they were too expensive for me on my part-time math tutor budget so I just ended up painting my alloys black. Now that I’m working a full time job as a mechanic I’d love to save up for them but now I’ve gotta go back to putting money away for college. Just the way the world works I guess :spending:

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
I paid 179 a wheel. Wesley Chapel Toyota has them on sale for 161 right now, but the black ones are still 212 apiece.

that sucks to hear! at least the OGT is in good hands! but daaaamn, that sounds like that's gonna be fun lol. I sold the Tercel about 2 months ago, just sat in the driveway for 4 months doing nothing, so there really wasn't a point in keeping it anymore and paying insurance on something I wasn't driving. Now that my Tacoma is back on the road with the disc brake conversion done, probably gonna start messing with the 80 again. I REALLY need to fix the rest of the bed and make the truck all one color, she's gotten a LOT of surface rust after being up here in ND the last 2 years.

I thought that before I moved here, but I live in FL not far from Jacksonville, been here 20+ yrs. I deer hunt 150yds from my backdoor, and theres a 1000ac farm across the creek from me. Ots not just palm trees and beaches.

I’m jealous, you’re living the dream. I live on the Northside of Jacksonville, outside the city but not quite yulee. Lots of deer up here but nowhere to hunt.

Hey folks, I have kind of a crazy question coming from someone as old as I am, haha. A lost puppy turned up in my yard today, a neutered male and he's pretty chubby so somebody has fed him well. He was pepper sprayed as I found out when the skin on my arms stated burning after petting him. Took him in and bathed him with Dawn.

I was wondering how I would go about finding his family? (As much as I'd like to keep him, I don't want to dognap someone's buddy.)
