I “ordered” a Lunar Rock TRD OR the last week of March which had a build date of April 22…..It’s been like pulling teeth trying to get anything out of my salesman. The spec sheet he sent me had way more options than I wanted (including BSM, which could be slowing it down according to what I’m seeing here) along with $3000 in dealer “Add-ons”. I think he just snagged the first LR he could.

Decided to shop around and found a white one allocated and unsold for a dealer 40 mins down the road. This one had a build date of April 29 and was actually built June 6, outfitted much more closely to what I wanted, just LEDs and tailgate lock….and “only” $900 in dealer “Add-ons”. Now, I guess I’ll sit back and see which one shows up first. I’ll take my 2nd choice in color for the $4000 difference if that’s the way it plays out.

I’m assuming I can claim my unused deposit at the other dealership in accessories like bed mat and other stuff. We’ll see.

    Congrats!
Are you in the western states? It seems like they are getting their trucks quicker, and have less holds overall. Most of those I am seeing on hold seem to be east of the Mississippi. Is anyone else noticing this?

Mine just got a hold on it in Georgia. My buddy who works for Toyota thinks the Southeast TLS is having a hard time getting the parts for their port installed packages.

As someone currently sitting in QC at Princeton, IN (built 5/16 Baja, hold 5/23, arrived by rail at Princeton 6/9) it's nice to see others finally getting released. Hopefully, we all start to see these holds evaporate and the trucks get sent out!

That's what I suspect happened to mine. It sat at the port for a month, maybe the bed lighting kit.

I am wondering that as well. I don't have the tech package so no bsm (I don't think) or lane assist. The only thing I can figure holding it up is the lighting. Everything else that is port installed seems easy. Bed mat, all weather floor mats, and tube steps. No electronics on those, and my understanding is it's the tech related things that are probably holding it up.

The light kit is the only port installed option that's electronic for me. Seems like a silly thing to delay on if it could be installed afterwards at a dealer.

I don't think it's the install that is an issue. It would be getting the kits for the install. Like I said, it's just a guess. We will probably never know.

Wow. I really hope mine doesn't sit at the port for a month waiting on a bed lighting kit that I could get online in a few days...I had to live with a few dealer packages so I was figuring it was something more robust like the wheels or tires.
