Oh I know the feeling, once went to a….can’t remember the name…one of those lesbian Lilith Fair types folk singer whoever, because of a girl I was dating…it was awful.

Had client talking about that Back Street Boys concert…had Salt and Pepper, Rick Ashley too (sp?) seemed like an odd lineup.

I’ll stick with Clutch,The Sword, Red Fang, etc…. lol!

First picture is a bit deceiving because I started in Aspen, CO (8,000 ft) and ended in Colorado Springs (6,200 ft) with an empty truck. I was much more impressed by the return trip after picking up 5 sets of Cooper S/T Maxx tires (255/80/17) and wheels. So about 400 extra pounds on the drive back which includes a couple of passes at 9,500 ft and 12,000 ft. Overland Torque Tune (OTT) with 85 octane and 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultraterrain tires.

This is around 26mpg US I think. In imperial it’s 31.5mpg. Longer trip at 110-115kph. I have aftermarket tires so run 36-38psi on trips and it helps a bit. The best I ever got on my ‘16 was 9.5L/100km. The ‘20 is better. I had the service bulletin done for ECU. Access Cab TRD OR with factory size but running Wild Country XTX Sport 4S. Confirmed manually. I think the wind being behind you doesn’t hurt.

Stock. Not bragging, but I don't want to bust out the pictures of the 33+mpg days. Around 27 mile commute each way.

2019 Sport A.C. V6 auto (try to always push the button), stock truck, very little highway miles, nothing much over 60m.p.h., very hilly here in N.W.PA and rarely go over 15miles one way. It average's 23+m.p.g. in which I've pretty much been called a liar on this forum...

    A bunch..and no build thread!
I take it most of you mileage monsters haven't modded your trucks.

A truck like mine probably can't get that kind of gas mileage without a strong downhill tailwind..or falling off a cliff.

Getting 26.7 MPG while only going 15.5 miles is some gooder math.

I was at the Atlanta blade show too. I have never seen so many knives in one place! But you're going to hate me as I live about 10 miles from where the knife show was held so no gas mileage bragging here. Probably cost me $8.00 in gas to get there. :)

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I just got back from using my Tacoma as designed and managed 14.3MPG. 8+ hours on rocks and great fun trails all in 4L, below 15MPH the whole time with plenty of idling. No A/C as it was 45ºF - perfect. Climbed Marblehead in Drummond Island (one of those "Jeep Adventure Badge" destinations), drove right along the big lake, had a wonderful time and then got 17.5MPG on the long drive home back to troll-land. Super happy that it got some MPG and that it worked exactly as I had expected for my latest offroad adventure._DSC4891.jpg

I was a table holder so it was "Work" for me. Our once a year road trip...I did win two awards so worth the trip.

Very cool and congrats on the show awards. A good friend of mine won a knife design award for the Paragon "clam shell" knife he designed.

Exact same for me when doing a 50 mile round trips into town on successive days when the warm weather is here. I rarely exceed 60 mph on these secondary back highways.

"Tacoma as designed" (in some minds) I'd imagine the engineers are thinking, how do we design the Tacoma around what purpose and how 2%(?) of the owners use or the other 98% ?

I know it’s been a day or two since we’ve had an mpg brag thread, so thank you for keeping the tradition alive.

Just curious, would it be in good form to also brag and post bank statements to make the point that some of us have enough disposable income and assets that we simply don’t care about mpg and just enjoy our modded trucks?
