Now, I still need to pass a DOT physical every year and register in the Federal data base ( $$$$$ generator) every year... privilege of being a CDL holder

Good morning all! HOT day expected here today!

I built a 60' wooden retaining at the beginning of covid. I'm getting laid off June 30th. I think she expects me to start on the last 40' section July 1st.

Burning my last 3 vacation days next week. Unfortunately I will have no renewal this time.

Just renewed my forklift cert last week. I don't think he did that right.....

We're expecting almost 100* with index of 105-107* here in Michigan today. Warnings on TV, Radio, and now popping up on my phone and my watch. I rode the bike to work anyway!

I tried that once, the light turned off when I closed the door and I got scared.

That’s just wrong in my book for Michigan. In my mind you’re one of those cold northern states. Lol

I finished a 3 mile walk about 30 minutes ago, I’m still hot!

 

With Florida just starting "Summer season" Con & I are out the door by 7 AM and we do the long loop 1st.... Not going to go out walking just to sweat my a$$ off and the evening walk depends on "Mom Nature"...mild rain is one thing BUT Dam, those Thunder boomer's that shake the house.... nope,nope,nope.

 

I've been waiting until 7pm lately to get my walk in and by then it's nice and cool . I've also noticed alot of people walking at this time so I'm not the only one out at this time of day

Good morning everyone!!

 

I try to get started earlier, eat breakfast after the walk. It seems I’m usually getting started about 7:15-7:30 regardless. I’m not willing to get up eariler. Lol.

I keep running into friends and socializing while we walk so I slow down while we talk. When it’s just me I move out pretty sporty and finish up in about 45 minutes.

 

It’s was the hottest I’ve seen in about three days at 8:30 this morning. I can tell I’m headed home

 

Uhhh ... you do know it's almost July !!!
