Rough country 3.5 lift with ucas or the Eibach coil over and rear shocks?

I don’t know much about the Eibach but I decided on the Rough Country 3.5” because of their UCA inclusion. I talked with a guy at a local 4WD shop that has been in the industry for decades…he had little good to say about some of the more popular brands - mostly because they make claims on warranty that are, at times (his words) difficult to keep. He personally had the RC kit on his truck.

Personally, I've had great experience with Eibach on my 3rd gen.

    Something worth adding:
Although some brands make a claim that they have a Limited Lifetime Warranty it’s important to know the terms of that warranty.

For instance: if you break a component will the company want to inspect it prior to warranty? This is the case with some major companies such as Billstein (again, according to the 4WD parts guy), while some companies, he mentioned Superlift, would simply exchange the part and allow the counter person to send it in at full credit.
Hope this isn’t off topic re: your question.

Is the Eibach lift a 3.5”? What does that kit include?

Very nice. What size tires are you running on this?

I'm still running my Cooper 255/85r16 from before the lift. I am in no rush to swap them out for 285s. Maybe when I wear these out, IDK. I am really liking these Coopers.

No the eibach is a 2.5 at the highest setting. Which is generally the most amount of lift you want for the CV's to play nice. IMHO 3.5"s of lift is more than what these trucks are comfortable with. Get ready to tackle that needle bearing.

That’s actually the size that I want to use (255/85/16), looks great. I don’t like super fat poke on these trucks personally.

Doesn’t a front diff drop resolve that? I don’t actually know, I was thinking that was the reason these higher kits include the hardware to drop that.

A diff drop helped on the earlier Gen trucks but there are tons of threads stating why a diff drop on the 3rd gens aren't very helpful. Besides the fact that it decreases ground clearance.

I don't think it has that much of a bearing on it. It's my understanding that, with ANY lift, you are significantly increasing your likelihood of having to replace the needle bearing. The OEM one is junk. I did mine, just in case.
